HANGZHOU XIAOSHAN XIANG LAKE UCI WORLD SERIES ITT QUALIFIER

SATURDAY 6TH SEPTEMBER 2025 XIAO SHAN, XIANG LAKE, HANGZHOU, CHINA

An individual time trial (ITT) is a road bicycle race in which cyclists race alone against the clock (in French: contre la montre – literally "against the watch", in Italian: tappa a cronometro "stopwatch stage"). There are also track-based time trials where riders compete in velodromes, and team time trials (TTT).

Racing an Individual Time Trial around Hangzhou’s stunning Xiang Lake offers cyclists a flat and fast loop around the serene Xianghu Lake. Riders will navigate smooth, well-maintained roads that meander through lush landscapes and alongside the lake’s tranquil waters. The route’s minimal elevation changes make it ideal for maintaining high speeds, challenging participants to optimize their pacing and aerodynamic positioning.
