Xianghu Lake 48km ( 3 x 16-kilometer) cycling route around Xianghu Lake in Hangzhou offers a tranquil and culturally enriching experience, distinct from the more frequented West Lake paths. This loop combines natural beauty with historical significance, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a leisurely yet immersive ride.

Highlights Along the Route
1. Xianghu Lake Scenic Area
Begin your journey with serene views of the lake, surrounded by lush greenery and gentle hills. The well-maintained paths are perfect for cycling and offer numerous spots to pause and appreciate the landscape.
2. Kuahuqiao Museum
Discover artifacts from the Neolithic Kuahuqiao site, including ancient pottery and tools, providing insight into early human civilization in the region.
3. Xiasun Old Village

Riders are provided with top-tier event support, including full road closures managed by traffic professionals, two aid stations stocked with food and drinks along the course, mobile mechanics available on-site, and medical resources. If needed, a bus sag wagon will assist in returning riders to the start line. In addition to these essential services, the event features multiple layers of support from police, local councils, dedicated volunteers, Hangzhou Xiao Shan cultural performances, and comprehensive event management resources. All of this is designed to ensure a safe and unforgettable riding experience.

Start in the Road Bike Cycling race to receive all the support below and the ability to ride at your own pace. Riders have 3hrs to complete the 50km within the Event and its Road Closures.
